Quanta Microsystems Demonstrates AMIMON’s High-Definition Wireless Technology

Santa Clara, Calif. and Taipei – June 4, 2008 - AMIMON Inc., an emerging leader in semiconductor technology for wireless transmission of high-definition (HD) video, has partnered with Quanta Microsystems, Inc. (QMI) a leading provider of Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) and Joint Design Manufacturer (JDM) services for the fast-growing home network equipment and wireless connectivity markets, to demonstrate wireless HD connectivity during the 2008 WiMAX Expo, which runs June 2-6, 2008 in Taipei. The demonstration will feature AMIMON’s innovative High-Definition Wireless technology.
During WiMAX Expo, QMI will showcase delivery of uncompressed HD video to HD displays from CE devices throughout the home. AMIMON’s wireless technology achieves the same quality consumers currently enjoy with wired HD video inputs, including HDMI™, DVI and component video. The demonstration will allow attendees and exhibitors to envision all the embedded device options and capabilities AMIMON’s technology enables for the next-generation HD Wireless experience.
